HELPING HIGH PERFORMERS

Workplace Well -Being

Welcome to our Workplace Well-Being hub—dedicated to addressing the unique mental and emotional needs of high performers in high-stress roles. We empower leaders in many fields—from medicine and law to advocacy and progressive politics—to successfully navigate their work demands with personalized strategies and expert support.

By their very nature, high-stakes professions demand success—but the relentless pressure to excel can take a serious toll on health and well-being, including severe burnout, isolation, and emotional exhaustion.

UNIQUE CHALLENGES

Women & People of Color

Women—and especially women of color—face higher rates of burnout than men in similar roles. Daily realities like microaggressions, isolation, and the constant pressure to prove themselves erode resilience. Women are almost twice as likely as men to be mistaken for being more junior, and women of color are 5.5 times more likely to be confused with someone of the same race or nationality. Only 1 in 25 senior leaders is a woman of color.*

The intersection of gender, race, and professional expectations creates unique barriers for women of color and professionals from marginalized backgrounds. Having to simultaneously navigate the demands of their roles and systemic inequities compounds stress, increases feelings of isolation, and makes advancement in competitive environments even more challenging.

Supporting Social Justice, Progressive, and Advocacy Professionals

Professionals who are fueled by a deep commitment to making a difference can easily get bogged down with real emotional challenges. Vicarious trauma and the relentless pace of advocacy work can lead to burnout and depression if they aren’t proactively addressed and managed.

When we support Black physicians, women of color, attorneys, and other professionals driving progress, we’re building productive work environments that are also fair, and humane.
